I'll be 11 weeks this coming Sunday and thanks to the constant nausea and tiredness, these last 6 weeks have passed by so slow. I feel as if I'm beginning to get better day by day, but it's still there. I'm hoping and praying that by the 12th week or so, all the sickness that has troubled this first trimester will have fade away.

I'm terrible about keeping this blog up-to-date. :(
My last post was about the fears of not seeing a baby in the womb; having no heartbeat at all would've been so heartbreaking. That was 2 weeks ago.
We found out shortly after that blog was posted that we in fact have a baby (and 1!) and a good strong heartbeat of 176. We had been told that we were gonna have twins by a couple of people, but Jamie made sure that the ultrasound tech search high and low for another one, but she only seen the one. WOW! Jack was there with us and soon asked what the baby was! :) He's so sweet. He's really looking forward to the baby and has high hopes for a girl. I've explained to him that we cannot choose for the baby to be a boy or girl, that God chooses for us and that we have a 50-50 chance of having one or the other. He understands-but the lil' sister is preferred.
