UPDATES!!!!!

No need to explain the lack of blogging....it's always the same ole' story.

But here are some pics of what's been going on lately.

Today - I'm 17 weeks/5 days prego! This pic was taken yesterday before an outing to Tuscaloosa!

I've been feeling pretty good, minus the sinus crud that's been hanging around since...FOREVER! The lil' one's been moving around a lil' bit here and there and in lil' over 2 weeks, we'll be able to see if it's a boy or girl. YAY!!! Jack is so excited. However, the coming up with names has turned out to be more of an ordeal than I had imagined. I like a name...Jamie doesn't. What I'm looking for is something simple, short, old-fashioned, etc....nothing complicated. Any suggestions?

THE NEW ROOF IS FINALLY ON THE HOUSE!

A special thanks to all of those who helped out, especially to Gran'Daddy and Uncle Ray.

Prego Update!

As you can tell by my clicker...I'm 15 weeks, 1 day prego! It seems that the past few weeks have gone by so slow, however I can't believe that in 5 weeks, we'll be able to find out what this lil' one is. Most of my family and friends are pulling for a girl, however Jamie is thinking that another boy is perfect. I honestly don't care what the gender is, as long as he/she is healthy and happy. A lot of people have been asking me about names and I have a few girly names picked out, but the name for a boy is being quite difficult. If you know me, I'm really wanting something short, sweet, old, and meaningful. Hopefully we'll be able to come up w/ something before he/she gets here. Wish us luck!

In the last week or so, I've been feeling the lil' flutter in my tummy in which excites me b/c it gives me an indication that everything is ok. I've been feeling kind of anxious here lately for some reason, but I'm praying that it'll all be confirmed to be nothing at my next week's appointment. I'm showing - I've been showing and I'm nervous to see how big I'll be at the end. I've not gained any weight yet and I'm hoping that I'll be able to keep it at it's minimum if possible. When I was pregnant w/ Jack, I believe that I gained only 16 pounds (that number will be confirmed next week at the dr's appointment) and all the weight went straight to my belly. I actually lost weight in my legs and thighs, {no complaints there} and hope that all will be the same w/ this pregnancy.

Thanks for checking in on my blog. I'm hoping that w/ things finally calming down that I'll be able to post more often than I have in the last few months.

My Baby is 6!!!

The above pic was taken when Jack was about 2 months old. I miss him being that small. He was such a wonderful baby.

The following pics were taken at the b-day party.
Here is a pic of Jack and his cake that was made by his Gran'Momma and Aunt Amanda along w/ a few of his friends, Lane and Logan, and his cousin, Heath.

I decided to rent this huge slide for the occasion and truly it was worth it.

Wesley and the Greenwaves!

A few weeks ago, my sister got word that the players and coaches of Gordo were wanting Wesley to walk out w/ them at the PepRally - in which made Wesley's day. When we got there for the event, Wesley was decked out in a jersey that the head coach had given to him. Seeing him being able to take a part in something that he likes so much and being accepted for the person that he is - it just brings tears to your eyes. On that day, on his first walk-out, I don't think that there was a dry-eye in the gym, especially not in mine nor my sisters. Since then, it has been said that the players have adopted Wesley and this past Friday at Homecoming, Wesley was named honorary captain and was able to part in the coin toss before the game. He was also able to stay on the sidelines and able to watch the game up close and personal.
Thank you to the staff and coaches of GHS, the players and students for being able to look past the chair and seeing the true person that Wesley really is. Even though he can't physically participate in the sport, he'll be there on the side to cheer you to the end. GO WAVES!!!

Lil' Road Trip to Georgia

A few weeks ago, we decided to take a lil' weekend trip to Georgia where we visited Six Flags and the famous Georgia Aquarium. Unfortunately I didn't take pics of Jack riding anything at Six Flags because, well....he really didn't ride anything - except for Thomas the Train and the bumper cars w/ his daddy. He did however enjoy the Arcade Area and was saddened when he couldn't win the PSP out of the machines. But all in all...I believe that he had a pretty good time and is looking forward to going back in a few years when he's a lil' bigger to ride the more thrilling rides. We'll see.....

The visit to the aquarium was also nice....however I was thinking that it was gonna be bigger. It featured many species of fish and all....and the overhead fish aquariums were quite nice, but for it to the be largest in the US - i was expecting it to be this gigantic exhibit. There were many people talking how the one in Tennessee was a lot nicer and seemed to be bigger. I can see that a comparison is in the future.
